THE NEXT GENERATION
All four sons of Volkert Dircks and Annetje Phillips had children, but Johannes had only one child, and there is no information of any further descendants of this branch of the family.
Family of Dirck Volckertszen, first grandson of Dirck d' Norman
Dirck Volckertszen had two wives during his lifetime, Maria DeWitt, and, later, married Gertje Zynieltse.
Dirck Volckertszen married Maria DeWitt in 1691. Sons Were:
Volkert Volkertsen, first son, first child of Dirck Volckertszen and Maria DeWitt, born 1692.
Peter Volkertsen, second son, second child of Dirck Volckertszen and Maria DeWitt,born 1695.
Dirck Volckertszen and Maria DeWitt's Daughters Were:
Sarah Volkertsen, first daughter, third child of Dirck Volckertszen and Maria DeWitt, born c 1700.
Annetje Volkerse, second daughter, fourth child of Dirck Volckertszen and Maria DeWitt, born c 1700.
Dirck Volckertszen married Gertje Zynieltse after 1711, Son Was:
Dirck Volckertszen, third son, eighth child of Dirck, first son and fourth child of Gertje, born 1727. Perhaps Dirck, Jr., passed away young. We have no records of this branch of the family continuing beyond this child.
Dirck Volckertszen and Gertje Zynieltse's Daughters Were:
Hannah Volkertszen, third daughter, fifth child of Dirck, first daughter and first child of Gertje, born before 1722.
Deborah Volkertszen, fourth daughter, sixth child of Dirck, second daughter and second child of Gertje, born before 1722.
Maria Volkertszen, fifth daughter, seventh child of Dirck, third daughter and third child of Gertje, born 1722.
All the children listed above were great grandchildren of Dirck d' Norman and Christina Vigne.
Family of Philip Volckertszen, second grandson of Dirck d'Norman
Philip Volckertszen, like his older brother Dirck, had two wives during his lifetime--Ann Van Cleeft and, later, Mettye Symonsen Van Arsdalen.
Philip Volckertszen married Ann Van Cleeft c 1695. Sons Were:
Folkert Folkertson, first son and first child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleeft, born c 1697.
Johannis Fulkertson, second son and second child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born c 1702.
Phillipus Fulkertson, third son and fourth child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born c 1706.
Joseph Folkertson, fourth son and sixth child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born c 1710.
Dirck Folkertson, fifth son and seventh child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born c 1712.
Philip Volckertszen married Ann Van Cleeft, Daughters Were:
Rebecca Folkertson, first daughter and third child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born 1704.
Annetje Folkertson, second daughter and fifth child of Philip Volckertszen and Ann Van Cleef, born c 1708.
Philip Volckertszen married Mettye Symonsen Van Arsdalen c 1717 - 1722. Their only child:
Volkertje Folkerson, third daughter and eighth child of Philip Volckertszen and first daughter and first child of Mettye Symonsen Van Arsdalen, born 1697.
Family of Nicholas Volckertszen, third grandson of Dirck d' Norman
Nicholas Volckertszen married Neeltje Couwenhoven in 1699. Their Son Was:
Volkert Fulkerson, first son and fifth child of Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven, born 1708.
Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven's Daughters Were:
Neeltje Fulkerson, first daughter, first child of Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven, born c 1700.
Dinah Fulkerson, second daughter, second child of Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven, born after 1700.
Ariantie Fulkerson, third daughter, third child of Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven, born after 1700.
Marytie Fulkerson, fourth daughter, fourth child of Nicholas Volckertszen and Neeltje Couwenhoven, born after 1700.
